Most of our Standard rooms are located toward the rear of the building or in the annex and offer expansive views over the Cromdale Hills, although a few standard rooms are front facing and look over The Square and the main street of Grantown on Spey. Children are very welcome at The Grant Arms. Our family rooms each have one double and one single bed. Cots and Z-Beds are available for smaller children. Additionally, each room either has a walk-in shower or a shower over a bath. Please note that some rooms are not accessible by lift.

Our Superior Rooms are traditionally furnished and located on the first and second floors. They are mostly front-facing, offering views over The Square and the main street. We do have one rear-facing Superior Room, which has lovely views over the Cromdale Hills. Additionally, we have one accessible room, subject to availability.
Some of our Superior Rooms have a shower over the bathtub, while others feature walk-in showers only. All Superior Rooms include bottled mineral water and chocolates, which are replenished daily.

Our ‘Victoria’s Secret’ room has distinct royal connections with the room being said to have housed Queen Victoria and Prince Albert during their “very amusing and never to be forgotten” visit in 1850. The night at the Grant Arms was said to be Queen Victoria’s first night in a ‘public inn’ anywhere. The hotel also played host to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip in August 1961.
Our Four Poster Rooms are traditionally furnished and are located on the first and second floor. The Four Poster Rooms are all front facing overlooking the Square. All Four Poster Rooms are accessible by lift. Our Four Poster Rooms come with bottled mineral water and chocolate which is replenished daily.

From the moment you step into the Clocktower Suite, you’ll be immersed in a world of elegance and refinement. The Suite boasts generous square footage, offering a separate living area with comfortable working and seating spaces, a king bedroom and a lavish bathroom with double vanity basins and a large walk in shower. Ideally located on the second floor at the northern end of the building, the Suite offers space and complete privacy for those wanting that little bit extra!
